Corporate Volunteer Programs
Individuals and companies who are associated with corporate volunteer programs are encouraged to contact our agency to participate in various activities throughout the year. If your company is looking for an agency to partner with, please contact Sarah Saenz, to arrange a time to speak further about the ways in which your company may be able to assist us in our mission to service older adults.

Community Service Hour Requirements
The BCCOA can host individuals who need to complete Cook County court appointed community service, welfare to work community hours and service to complete high school requirements. If you are required to complete community service hours, and are interested in assisting older adults to complete this requirement, please contact Sarah Saenz to see if we might have an opening for you.

Opportunities for current BCCOA Volunteers

Senior Advocate Workers (English & Spanish Speaking)

Learn to assist older adults in obtaining many needed benefits, such as social security, Illinois Cares Rx and Circuit Breaker, Medicaid, food stamps and other services they may be entitled to receive.

Telephone Reassurance

Use a pre-defined script of questions to conduct follow-up calls to older adults in the Berwyn and Cicero communities.

All volunteer opportunities are conducted on Monday through Friday and training is provided for all activities.
